Let’s face it, having a baby is hard on your body and most often we are left with little to no guidance on where to start on the journey back to feeling normal. In this 7 week session you will learn simple exercises to start rebuilding the pelvic floor. We will also cover common post-partum concerns like poor posture due to holding/nursing baby, back and pelvic pain, and reduced stability through the joints. Build strength in your body within a community of other moms to support you, as well as take time to connect with your baby. I hope you’ll join me!

Pregnancy is one of the most powerful times in a woman’s life. Learn to harness that energy through movement and breath to find connection to yourself and your baby. Pre-natal yoga strengthens your body and mind in preparation for birth and motherhood. It creates stability to reduce pains associated with pregnancy, helping you to feel better and stand taller. It can help to alleviate fears surrounding childbirth and reduce stress. Through the practice of yoga we build trust with ourselves and our bodies, building our intuition and our inner knowing. These are our greatest tools as we embark on the journey to becoming mothers.

Self Care can help you maintain your physical, mental and emotional health. It is important to recognize when you should carve out some time for yourself to apply these techniques to reduce stress and congestion in your body.
Join RMT & MYCN Yoga Teacher Robert Buckland for a non-heated Self Care Workshop where you will discover aches and pains within your own body and learn various methods intended to reduce the issues in your tissues. Focusing on specific trigger points Robert will guide you through a combination of yoga therapy balls, blocks, straps and gentle yoga poses for Self Care and healing.
Props will be provided for use during this session; space in this workshop will be limited.
