Playful in nature, attending this AcroYoga workshop will give you the tools to learn foundational alignment, counter-balances, and movement patterns.
AcroYoga is a form of partner acrobatic-yoga practice that also combines elements of massage into a unique physical trusting expression. Moving together improves our body awareness and spatial perception, which results in moving more mindfully through your favorite activities and day to day life. AcroYoga encourages deeper connections to one another by communication of our needs, resulting in better communication off our mats. This practice is a beautiful combination of strength and flexibility which teaches you to find your core, create space and stabilize effectively.
These beginner techniques are accessible for EVERYONE to try, regardless of experience. There will opportunity for challenging progressions for those wanting a little more.
You don’t need to bring a friend. Bring your wonderful self & meet new friends. This practice brings us all together as a community to support each other. We play trust building games & learn how to fly!
