Yoga Camp for Young Athletes

The benefits of doing yoga, especially starting at a young age are becoming more and more apparent in our general population. Athletes are recognizing these benefits as well! A few reasons more athletes at all levels & all ages are integrating yoga into their routine:
*improved mobility & range of motion
*breath & body awareness
*focus & agility
*avoid common injuries related to sport
*higher understanding of the science & facts behind stretching

Join Linsday Coghlan at Moksha Yoga Calgary North for a Yoga For Young Athletes camp your kids won’t want to miss! Fun, educational, sport and yoga focused. Lindsay has over 15 yrs of competitive hockey experience as a goaltender. She played with team Alberta, team New Brunswick & finished her college career with the SAIT Trojans. Lindsay is Moksha Level 1 & Moksha Flow certified, and has since added Yin, Myofascial Release & Yoga for Athletes certifications to her resume. Her teaching style comes from her knowledge & experience in sport and her continuous passion for yoga.

WHEN: Aug 20th – Aug 24th 11:30am – 3:00pm
WHO: Ages 12-17

Yoga mats, towels & yoga props will be provided for athletes attending. Participants to bring their own snack/lunch.
