I stumbled into the world of yoga about 8 years ago. I followed a friend into the hot room and it felt like home. It very fast became my home away from home, a daily routine that changed my life forever. I learned how to breath and move… But most of all breath. Not only in the hot room but through various stages through life.
I stepped into the Moksha studio almost 2 years ago. The warm atmosphere and the smiling faces made it easy to slide into a slightly different practice. It had been on my bucket list for years to get to teacher training. Everything just fell into place and I was able to make it to Kelowna for the Moksha Yoga training in July 2016.
When I am not at the studio I am behind a salon chair. I have been a hairstylist for 14 years and still enjoy every aspect of that ever changing industry. I can also be seen at the park with my beautiful 9 year old daughter, who reminds me everyday to play, smile and be silly.
I look forward to breathing, growing and smiling with you on your mat. Namaste.
