Two years in the Athletic Therapy program at Mt Royal College left her feeling like she wasn’t in the field she needed to be in. After a year of traveling, she came home to Calgary with a renewed sense of purpose and a goal to save the world. She completed a diploma in Journalism and went to work as an Editor at a newspaper in Revelstoke. The job was challenging and fun, but after September 11 she knew she needed to move home and start the job that she had always wanted, teaching yoga.
After moving back to Calgary in 2002 she started her first teacher training program in Ashtanga Yoga with Rockne White at Yoga in Motion. Since then she has continued her quest for more knowledge with many teachers, including Jennifer Steed, Mary Jo Fetterly, Danielle Pechie, Norah Maskey, John Friend, Desiree Rumbaugh, Fiona Stang, David Williams, Suzi Hately, and more.
After having three children Jennifer discovered a passion for teaching pre and post natal yoga. As well, she is working towards her certification as a yoga therapist. Helping people feel and move better is what motivates her each day.
Jennifer is continuously learning through her teachers, her family, and her three boys.
