When I started yoga in my early twenties it added zest, colour, and magic to my daily life as well as added flexibility in my body. Later on in my twenties I sort of lost yoga to university, relationships, work and so on and so forth. As a result I started to loose sight of the magic and beauty that is around us everyday. Signing up and committing to the Moksha/Modo Teacher Training in Nicaragua was the best decision I have made in the last 10 years since first stepping onto the mat. A Moksha Yoga class at Moksha Yoga Calgary North consists of 40ish postures that combine therapeutic and traditional yoga in a specially-heated room (98F and 35% humidity). Each Moksha class is cardiovascular, working to strengthen, loosen, and tone the muscles in your body. The heat allows for deep, safe stretching and detoxifies the skin, blood and muscles.
