A Moksha Yoga class at Moksha Yoga Calgary North consists of 40ish postures that combine therapeutic and traditional yoga in a specially-heated room (98F and 35% humidity). Each Moksha class is cardiovascular, working to strengthen, loosen, and tone the muscles in your body. The heat allows for deep, safe stretching and detoxifies the skin, blood and muscles. Yang/Yin is a well balanced class, we start the first half of the class with movement, a little bit of flow, standing postures and some strength focused yoga. The last half of the class is Yin Yoga, where the postures are held longer for deep holds to relax and restore joints and muscles.
Stretch and strengthen your body, explore postures to ease the common discomforts of pregnancy, and nurture your connection with your baby and your changing body. Classes are perfect for all stages of pregnancy.
